Hua Shan Pai Seminar II

Hua Shan Pai Chi Gung Seminar

Hua Shan Pai Qi Gong is a school of qi (energy) exercises. Hua Shan
(Wah San) is the western holy mountain of China in Shaanxi Province, which literally means “magnificent, China mountain.”
Pai means school or system while Qi gong (Chi Kung), also Hei Gung
means the exercises to cultivate qi, which are usually part of systems
of deep breathing techniques.

In China, the Hua Shan Pai style of Chi Gong is recognized as one of
the best for promoting life rejuvenation and longevity. The Chi Gong
of Hua Shan (the name of the mountain where a temple was built and
it's original practitioner resided) was taught only to selected Taoist
disciples and kept closely guarded. This art has survived the centuries
but with few current practitioners.

SiFu Gus Rubio, a direct disciple of Chueng Kune Pai and Bak
Sui Lum, and director of Kung Fu Connection, a school of martial
arts, taught the second seminar on Hua Shan Pai. The class took place
at 12739-41 Biscayne Boulevard, North Miami, FL 33181 on October
30, 2021.

Jorge Luis Morejon, among other participants, was one of the students
in the class. Only the first movement of the series was taught. This note
is meant to keep record of such important event.
