Guadalupe

Cover of TV y Novelas. Jorge Luis Morejon (El Indio),
Zully Montero (Luisa Sambrano), Michel Paneque (chofer).
Guadalupe. Miami. 1993

Jorge Luis Morejon entered the cast of Guadalupe after the soap opera had already started. He never auditioned for the soap opera, but one day during a visit to Delia Fiallo with his journalist friend Luisa Haza, the idea of a character named El Indio, came up. El Indio was a thug that would kill for money. In time, through the chofer, he becomes Luisa Sambrano's hitman. As explained by Dellia Fiallo, during the visit in which she desided to write this character for Jorge Luis Morejon, El Indio was supposed to have a limited life span within the story. Eventually, as it happens with negative characters, he was going tobe killed. "Nevertherless, says Jorge Luis, "it gave me the opportunity to work with director Grazio D'Angelo, once again, and share the set with Adela Noriega, Zully Montero, Michel Paneque and many other talented actors."
