This is a book that documents Jorge Luis Morejon’s first participation in La Rebambaramba, an event that takes place once a year in Books and Books. “This book compiles the ways of doing and saying of a group of Cuban creators who reside in Miami, who got together to give homage to poetry.” Palabras en el fuego compiles poems by: Angel Cuadra, Germán Guerra, Amelia del Castillo, Teresa María Rojas, Orlando González Esteva y Félix Lizárraga, and texts by Ramón Alejandro (artist), Marisela Verena (composer, singer) Rosie Inguanzo (writer, actress, theatre director), Jorge Luis Morejón (singer, dancer, actor and theatre director ), Nereida García Ferraz (artist, producer of documentary: Fuego de tierra (Earth’s Fire) about Ana Mendieta and Gretel Trujillo (actress). <http://www.habanaelegante.com/Fall2004/Ecos.html> Miami. 2004
